For the second stop of our whole day adventure on my Birthday Month, the Gulay Gang went to Wee Nam Kee for dinner.
|
Yes, it's my mom's mission in life to pose in front of almost all the places we eat at. haha :D |
This was after we went around Shangrila and we're all done window shopping and watching a chorale sing some songs at the atrium. The East Wing of Edsa Shang is definitely classy. :)
Once we arrived at Wee Nam Kee, the first thing they gave us was the complimentary tea.
Which tasted pretty good.
|
No idea what the tea is. It was good. Specially because we were quite hungry. |
The meal we had is already a set. Got the voucher from
+Deal Grocer :D
We didn't need to order anything extra. I just gave them the voucher and we were told to wait 10 minutes for them to prep the food.
Fried Chicken
Chicken Noodle Soup
Some type of soup. I don't remember. hahaha But the soup is similar to laksa. So I'm calling it Laksa!
Yang Chow Fried Rice
We also had some cuapao with braised pork. Just forgot to photograph it. :P
The voucher I got is worth 1500 and I only paid 800 for a group of 4. Not a bad deal at all.
I loved the cuapao with braised pork and coriander. That was fabulous.
We were all full after eating and there was even take out. You sort of underestimate the noodles, coz they're just noodles but they were quite filling. :D
The service was awesome sauce too. As soon as they saw that we need water, a waiter will come to our table with a pitcher. Just awesome.
Overall, Wee Nam Kee is a pretty darn good place for a family dinner.
I will definitely come back when I find another voucher.
After dinner we head off to find dessert. Til the next post! :D
