Monopod or Selfie Stick - Review

Sometimes, taking a Group Selfie or Groufie can be troublesome. You may chop someone's head off the screen and they will no longer be part of the picture or you have to ask someone in the group to just take the photo and he or she will no longer be part of the group photo.

Well, worry no more. The Monopod can solve all these troubles!

The Monopod aka the Selfie Stick is now very popular all over the world. There are several designs and styles to choose from too. The difference is mainly just the color of the handle.
But the features are all the same.

First thing you'll notice about the monopod is the stretchable handle. The one I got for my birthday can extend up to 1 meter.

Next the spot you can use to place your phone in can be removed to reveal a screw that can fit most cameras. Just a warning though, please use small digital cameras with the monopod . Don't use it with your large and heavy DSLR cameras. Unless you want to break them of course. Then it's all up to you. And the thingamajiggy to hold your phone in place can only accomodate phones up to 5.7 inches. If you have a tablet, you wont be able to use the generic monopod with it.

Finally, the bluetooth shutter. Although it is a separate item. It has to be purchased in order to ensure perfect Groufie shots each and every time. It's simple enough to use. First thing you do is pair it with your phone. It works with android and ios devices. Pose in front of the camera and then just start clicking away.

There'll be some shots that wont look good if you just got it for the first time, but the more often you use the monopod the better you're photos will look.

Here are some shots used with the monopod on my birthday. ^_^

Overall, the monopod is an absolutely brilliant invention. I salute whoever made the idea and I also salute whoever copied the idea and made it affordable. hahaha
