A recent update to the Uber app on November 3 introduced a new ride for Uber Riders in Manila.

Uber Riders who need wheelchair accessible cars can now ride with Uber thru Wheelmobile.
Wheelmobile partnered with Uber to provide assistance to passengers with disablities or the elderly.

The option is now available on the app and is just like the other uber options.
Except that it is more expensive:

On this screenshot, the minimum fare is 450 Php.
And the rate per minute is 7.50 Php.

This will be really convenient for families who don't have access to cars and want to take a family member who is on a wheelchair on a trip around town.

But in my opinion this is far too expensive.
I hope they can reduce the price of the service at some point. Otherwise they should think of something else.

If you haven't tried Uber yet, get free 200 pesos on your first ride with my code:
UBERLIBRE200

Or you can register from this website:

Oh my gosh. I just bought a new laptop. This set me back around 70,000 pesos.
But I think it's worth it.  It's the Lenovo Y50 Gaming laptop

Today I got my first ever manicure and pedicure at a salon.
It was done by a Nail Technician in under an hour.
I hate it more than I like it. gaaah

Today, we went to the Princess Hazel Salon and Spa at Pacific Century Tower along Quezon Avenue.
We have been planning to go to that place for months now.
I was initially given the idea of getting a manicure and pedicure here because of Sample Room.
For 90 sample room points and 100 pesos shipping, I can get a manicure and pedicure from the said salon that is worth 450 pesos normally.
When I saw this deal I was ecstatic. Coz the price is way less than the regular fee.

Pros:
The place is cute. It has a royal theme. There's purple, gold and blue colors everywhere. And a Red carpet on the floor too. And the staff is very friendly. The hour passed by quickly thanks to them.
You can choose from a variety of nail polish colors and you can also choose to add glitter to the nail polish. I chose purple nail polish and purple glitters. hahaha

Cons:
The place is relatively far. It's far from my house at least.
And it's not worth the time to get there to do the entire procedure.
The process took an hour!
We went to the shop before going to work, and if it took any longer we'd be late.
It's best to go here when you have lots of time to kill.
Also for the regular price of 450 pesos it's so reaally worth it.
I'd rather do it myself.

Overall, if you live in QC or in the nearby area as the salon it's an interesting place to try.

P.S.
But here's the thing, I hated the entire process of getting a manicure and pedicure.
You're just sitting there doing nothing.
You can't play on your phone coz you can't use your hands.
The Nail Technician will cut up the sides of your fingers and toes! It hurts! And they say it's normal!
Gaaah
Just while sitting at the shop, when the nail polish should have dried already, I accidentally destroy it.

So yah, Im never getting a mani/pedi ever again!

This is another huge box of products from BDJ. Very happy to get the Fullsized Dial Products. I got samples of Dial from Sample room and Im definitely sold on the Coconut water body wash. ^_^

I also got a few full sized products this month. I got Dove anti hair fall tonics, Mychoice Spa salts, and lotions, and a Revlon Quad Eye Shadow Pallette.

In the box, were also some samples from Loreal Paris, Yves Rocher and Strip products.

Dove had a promotion a while ago for a free Dove Whitening Deo sample. All I had to do was register on the Dove Facebook page. After doing that I received a confirmation text on my phone.
The instructions were pretty simple, I just need to show the text message to any Bayo branch. I went to the branch in Megamall. And then I got my free Dove sample!

It's just a small 10ml size bottle. So I didn't really use it that much coz I'm saving it for when I need to travel and need something small to bring with me.

I used it a bit and what I can say is that Dove is like the other roll on deodorants that I've used.
Upon application it is wet and sticky and I wait for it to dry a little bit before wearing my top.
It also looks like you applied something like a cream on your underarms as it has a white color that sort of makes your underarms look "whiter"

Overall, the deodorizing effect is worth buying the product. But I'm not really expecting much for the whitening effect. As my underarms will never see the light of day. hahaha

This is a huuuge BDJ Box for September! Very happy to see a lot of full sized items this month.
Got items from Cream Silk, Beach Hut, Pond's, Jergens, F21 Cosmetics, Godiva and Dove.

Also got a free makeover coupon from PAC Cosmetics.

Bioessence gave away whitening soaps and coupons for free back masssage in the Blogapalooza event last October 11. So before my birthday, I went to SM Megamall to try it out. Here's my review.

I went to the Bioessence branch in the 5th floor of Megamall as it's the closest branch to me.

First thing you'll notice upon entering the shop is that it's small. And there's a lady on the counter that's looking at her phone. When I presented the coupon for the free massage and she has no idea what the hell it is. She has to ask someone from the back what it is first. And then she has to ask someone if they can accommodate the free massage. Which kinda sucked. After several minutes of them figuring out what the friggin coupon is, I signed a form and I was told to sit down while waiting for the masseuse. The long bench was made of wood and was really uncomfortable. Im glad I didnt wait too long tho. They told me to go inside and enter a room.

It was a veery small tiny miniscule room, which can make a claustrophobic person go into shock. or something. It had a narrow bed, a mirror and some hooks for you to hang your clothes on. I haven't been inside a motel ever, but I'm guessing this is what it would look like. The fact that it was dark didn't really help much with the ambience.

The whole massage took around an hour and it was mediocre at best. The massage bed was too firm, there was no hole so that you can lay on your front flatly and the massage itself was sort of painful.
Another thing I didn't like was that the masseuse used too much oil. I was ready to be deep fried in oil after the massage!

Overall, I didn't really like the place, the facilities or even the actual massage. And the actual price for the massage is ridiculous! 1000 Php! I'd rather spend that much for a massage at The Spa or Wensha. Definitely not coming back here even when there's a free coupon.
The following photos are all the items I received for the August BDJ Box. I will post a separate blog post for reviews of any item in the BDJ Box.
If you are not familiar with the BDJ Box subscription, visit bdjbox.com to know more.

You can get samples for beauty, hair care, skin care and all other kinds of products and even services in the BDJ Box. It only costs 550 Php per month, in a 6 month subscription of 3300 Php.

It was a little bit disappointing when I got this box and it was back to the usual small size.
But the contents were pretty awesome.

It has full sized products from Garnier, Loreal, Revlon, Shiseido, Fau di Fendi and 2 coupons for Blo Bar. I reviewed the Blo bar in a separate post.

There were a lot of full sized items, and who doesn't want full sized items??
