Palmolive Naturals Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo and Conditioner

After using the shampoo and conditioner combo, my first reaction was that it smells REALLY sweet. I'm all for sweet smelling hair but this takes the cake, and throws the cake way out into the mountains. I've rinsed out my hair twice and it still smells too sweet. For me at least. I'm not too fond of the strength of the scent.

As for the effect on the hair, it still makes it smooth and soft as promised. And hair fall is still minimal. I was previously using the hair fall control shampoo from dove and this combo has the same amount of hair fall after rinsing. After running my hands through my hair, I'll get 4 to 5 strands. But if I didn't use the hairfall shampoo, it's waaay more than just 5 strands.

Overall, pretty good product but I'd like to try another variant where the scent isn't too sweet.

Palmolive Naturals Flawless Clean Soap

The Palmolive Naturals Soap has specks of charcoal that is said to absorb impurities from your skin. The scent of the soap is pleasant and floral. After using it, my skin feels clean but not dry or streched. Overall, pretty good, but not sure if the charcoal really works. :D

Palmolive Naturals White Papaya Body Wash

The Palmolive Naturals White Papaya Body Wash is my favorite item in this bundle. Does it make sense that I used it immediately? I didn't even take a proper picture of it. haha
The wash is a light orange in color and is gooey almost like a cream which makes a lot of lather once used with a loofah. You can put just a coin sized amount on your loofah and it can wash your entire body. Absolutely love how economical it is. And it really moisturizes my skin as well as leaving it smelling nice and sweet. You should definitely try it!

This is a bundle of Palmolive samples that I ordered from Sampleroom.ph.Although they are technically free, you have to pay for a shipping fee that is worth 130 for anything more than 500 grams.
Visit Sampleroom.ph to check out the available samples that you can try. :D

Here's a review of the Skin White PowerWhitening Face Cream Powder from Sample Room.

Okay, this is a weird product for me. It completely baffles me why you want something like this on your face. I'm weirded me out because it's a cream that once applied on your face dries up and turns powdery! I don't know. I tried it several times and most of the time when I apply it on my face the liquid dries too quickly that the powdery area is not blended well enough on my face. I found it hard to use and once I did get to apply it and blended it successfully, it didn't make that much "whitening" effect on my face. It did however make my skin feel smoother, because of the powder. But the hydration and whitening properties are questionable. Not the product for me. I'd rather use a liquid foundation, blend it before it dries then apply the powder after for a smooth finish. But thanks to Sample Room for the sample, now I know I won't be buying this product.

The November BDJ Box is filled with a bunch of cosmetics from Benefit. The box I got includes a sort of set of They're Real Eye Cosmetics. Here's a review of the three products I received:
They're Real Mascara, Gel Liner and Eye Makeup Remover.

I never really used any eye make up aside from eye shadows so this is a new experience for me to try the mascara and the gel push up liner.

The Gel Liner was a bit hard to use at first. I had to squeeze the container pretty hard for the gel to come out. But once the gel was out it was okay to draw a line with. The line was pretty thick once drawn on my eyelid. But again, I'm not an expert on how to use this. Once on, the line stayed pretty long even after sleeping through 9 hours.

This is a close up on my left eye with the liner on

The liner wasn't that obvious from afar
Just a minor problem with the container, is that if you squeeze too much the gel liner will just burst out.

The Mascara is another story. The liquid inside was very thick and it already looks clumpy. Immediately after applying some swipes on my eyelashes, my lashes clumped together. They did look thicker tho. But god the clumps were hard to get rid of. Am I not using it properly?

Do you notice the clumped up lashes from here?

The makeup remover is a thin white cream that I applied on a piece of tissue to use. Just a small amount on the tissue can remove the eye make up thoroughly. Carla used eye make up remover! It's super effective!!

Overall, I find that both the mascara and the gel liner were hard to use, but once applied works as advertised. Just needs a few improvements. Probably need a less lumpy solution for the mascara? Maybe get a better form of packaging for the liner?

The makeup remover works brilliantly. You really need to get it if you're getting waterproof gel liners and mascaras like these.

Am I going to buy these? Probably not. :)

Thanks for the sample tho +Benefit Cosmetics

Dove had a promotion a while ago for a free Dove Whitening Deo sample. All I had to do was register on the Dove Facebook page. After doing that I received a confirmation text on my phone.
The instructions were pretty simple, I just need to show the text message to any Bayo branch. I went to the branch in Megamall. And then I got my free Dove sample!

It's just a small 10ml size bottle. So I didn't really use it that much coz I'm saving it for when I need to travel and need something small to bring with me.

I used it a bit and what I can say is that Dove is like the other roll on deodorants that I've used.
Upon application it is wet and sticky and I wait for it to dry a little bit before wearing my top.
It also looks like you applied something like a cream on your underarms as it has a white color that sort of makes your underarms look "whiter"

Overall, the deodorizing effect is worth buying the product. But I'm not really expecting much for the whitening effect. As my underarms will never see the light of day. hahaha

Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash
Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash is a cream based cleanser that lathers really well even with just a small amount of it. The sample only has 15 ml but I was able to use it for quite a while. The scent is okay, with a floral scent that's not too much like a perfume. Skin feels fresh and smooth after washing. But still not sure how often I should use this for my skin to whiten. No visible change in skin tone after using the entire sample.

This cleanser works well for me. I used this after the nightmare effect of the Neem Face wash, also from Himalaya herbals. I didn't have any pimples while I was using this facial wash.
I got the sample from Sample Room. Visit Sampleroom.ph to get samples for free, just pay for shipping. ^_^
